Praise for Breath of Aire
From Getty Concert, Oct 17, 2009
Dear Mr Dubois,
Just a quick note to say thanks for your huge contribution to last
Saturday night's concert in Seattle - your choir embodied everything
that is good about a contemporary choir from the quality and
cohesiveness of their part-singing to their energy, vibrancy and
ability to communicate a joy in music and a joy in Christ - it was
infectious and filled the room...and they were just plain fun to be
with. Thank you for rehearsing them so thoroughly - there really is
nothing like a choir leading congregational singing when it is done
well.
And as for being contacted by somebody with same name as my high
school music teacher (and choir conductor)... It must be something to
do with that French heritage...
Anyhow, hope you have a wonderful fall and holiday season and every
blessing as you develop the choir into the future.
With grace and peace,
Keith and Kristyn Getty

Doctor DuBois, I want to thank you and your choir for an unforgettable evening on Saturday. There was something different and special about the singing that night, it was as if the choir were singing from one great big heart. As I sat there I could imagine Jesus smiling from ear to ear and clapping along as well. I was tingling and wanting to cry at the same time isn't that silly, and that feeling didn't go away for a long time afterward. I received a true blessing and I just wanted you to know that.
Thank the choir for me. I look forward to the next concert.

3rd lssaquah Highschool Concert, Mostly Americana
This concert was one of the most uplifting and outright marvelous programs that I have attended in years. What happened, as the evening progressed, was the pleasant realization that I was being pulled up, out of the media muck, mud and mire that has enveloped the airwaves for months. I was taken in to a real world of talented and hardworking singers from the youngest to the adults, whose capable and disciplined teachers were showing us that America still works, and beautifully!
The wide mix of songs evoked the full range of emotions to show off all the talent that we have in these young citizens getting themselves ready for a future that depends upon their abilities and the disciplines they learn here.
The teachers deserve kudos for the results that their hard work and dedication have brought about. The students likewise, for those many hours devoted to becoming excellent at their abilities and focus.
The further recognition of veterans added immeasurably to the happy realization that we are a caring and grateful people who do not forget those who have fought, and continue to fight, for this freedom of ours, especially in such a dangerous world as we all face today.
The music of America is, easily, one of our greatest strengths. Give us more of this.
I will not miss the fourth event.
